Jason Walden is our qualified and accredited  Energy Assessor and HIP expert. For your peace of mind there are numerous safeguards in place to protect buyers and sellers.   Domestic Energy Assessors must be accredited before they are allowed to survey a property. Jason Walden has been trained and is accredited by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

The BRE Accreditation Scheme:

• Ensures that all Assessors are 'fit and proper' people
• Checks the background of Assessors, including carrying out a Criminal Records Bureau check
• Ensures that the Assessors are qualified to carry out their duties
• Ensures that the Assessors have adequate indemnity cover to deal with any claims that might arise
• Checks the quality of the work produced by Assessors and ensures that there are no drops in standards
• Has the power to suspend and/or cancel the membership of any Assessor whose work falls below acceptable standards, or who does not adhere to a strict code of conduct
• Ensures that there are proper procedures in place for complaints and redress
• Keeps a public register of their members.
